Wife and I spent yat another very pleasant week at the Inn....only this time the hot tub was in full working order. This is our favorite place to stay in Cottonwood.

Room Tip: Rooms face east or west so state your preference early if you want shade in morning or evening.

If I was planning a group or family gathering - where one may want a "base" to vacation from - with a nice pool area - this would be a great place -

They do not border a main highway as so many do - and are back a ways from the frontage road - so it is peaceful and quiet...

The room was clean - a few minor maintenance items (light bulb burned out over sink) - nothing major -

Bottom line - this was decent value for the buck

Quality Inn online best price was $103 - I reserved it - when I arrived at 2330 hrs - there was no reservation - but the front desk price was lower than the online "best price" - and they applied it for the next 2 days!!! - nice surprise !!!

Room Tip: If you are OK with a long walk - the "back" unit is farthest from the street and quietest

We're liking our stay so much we've extended by a day (we would have stayed longer if we could, but have a conference to go to!). Beds are very comfortable, all rooms are placed well back from a none too busy road so the peace and quiet is fantastic - as are the views. We're walking in the area, had first thought to stay in Sedona, but having visited it we're much happier here in Cottonwood - less frenetic. The staff are lovely, with plenty of good local information on offer usually accompanied by an annotated map. Facilities include everything we need. If I was to be picky, more choice in the breakfast would be nice, but we were rather spoiled in that department at our last hotel - you get what is promised here, a good continental breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room Tip: We liked being on the top floor as the views were better and no chance of anyone pulling up on the outside of the room window.

As a Platinum Choice Hotels customer we travel and stay at this type of property quite a bit. Without decent hotels like this at a modest price, it would be difficult for us to travel so much. When I priced this versus what I could find in Sedona this seemed like a good value. We booked two rooms and stayed here two nights. Everything was as reasonable I as I would expect at this class of property. Breakfast was nice, rooms were clean and internet access was included in the room cost. Since internet equipment and service is so cheap these days, I disdain places which are priced high and tack on an additional fee for internet access. The place was only 20 minutes from Sedona and slightly off the beaten path but with excellent access to Jerome and Clarkdale for our Verde Canyon Railroad ride. Cottonwood is a nice historic city to explore and we were able to get to old town for lunch easily. It has good access to the Montezuma Castle and the Tuzigoot National Monument. We prefer to stay on the upper floors, thus lack of an elevator (which is clearly mentioned on their web-site was a minor issue. However we were aware of it when we booked and we were able to park next to the stairs. Overall it was a great location to explore everything at a very reasonable price. As long as the quality and service stayed the same, we would stay here again without hesitation.

Room Tip: If you like upper floor rooms you have to remember that the place does not have an elevator.
