In all honesty, ‘month visited - Mar 2018’ associated with this post isn’t entirely true. We had booked a reservation for Easter brunch at Slate about 3 weeks in advance. Because that much time had passed, we called the night before just to double check the reservation time. The person we spoke to couldn’t find our reservation - one for a party of 12 people. Instead of apologizing and trying to figure out the error or a solution, they accused us of not ever calling for a reservation! They said they wouldn’t have accepted reservations that early and that there’s no way we could have spoken to a male on the phone when we called. We’re not only incredibly disappointed by the disorganization at Slate but completely put off by the argumentative staff. Based on this experience we will never bother with Slate again.
