We were made to feel really welcome from the start with wine and milk in fridge and advice from owners father living next door .The cottage was very clean, quaint , spacious and well equipped. Perfectly situated for local shops and trips out. Beautiful part of wales and easy to walk to beaches and coastal paths. Quiet location. easy parking .

“Excellent!”

This cottage is comfortable, cozy, clean, and well-located in town near restaurants, shops, and the coastal path. We loved it! The owner was responsive in communicating as needed throughout our planning and his relative was gracious and welcoming when we arrived. We were traveling from the US, didn't know quite what to expect, and this stay was the highlight of our UK trip. If you are curious about the coastal path as we were, you will not be disappointed. We walked through town, started near a park-type path by the estuary and ended up seaside with amazing views--walked to our hearts' content then walked right back into town to a cozy pub for dinner. Wonderful getaway and excellent lodgings.

“Cosy, comfortable cottage”

Lovely, cute cottage ideally situated in Newport close to several good restaurants and pubs. The coastal path is easily accessible and provides some beautiful walks. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and is very comfortable. Tea, coffee and milk were ready for our arrival as was a bottle of wine. All greatly appreciated after our journey. We will definitely recommend the cottage and Newport to friends and family.

“Heaven on earth”

This cottage was magical! Quaint, yet well applianced, clean, comfortable, warm and cozy! Definitely felt at home immediately. Well equipped kitchen, full of afternoon sun/light, with everything one would want....stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, clothes washer, dishes, silverware, kitchen tools, pots and pans, etc. There was a small, private, walled in patio space accessible from the kitchen, with a table and chairs for relaxing, as well as clothes lines for hanging laundry to dry.
The large living room/dining area contained comfortable arm chairs and a sofa. There was a large dining table....great for eating at, a place for our laptop computer, and an area for setting up and doing a jig saw puzzle (there were a few to choose from)! There was a nice selection of books to choose from and read as well as numerous pamphlets, maps and booklets pertaining to the surrounding areas. The television worked great.
There was one bathroom downstairs with a toilet, sink and shower stall, and one half bathroom upstairs, with toilet and sink...both very clean, newly painted, and well lit with additional light from the sky lights.
There was a narrow, rather steep stairway to the two bedrooms upstairs. The bedrooms were well lit with morning sun/day light, and at night there was plenty of lighting available from lamps. Very comfortable bedding. Adequate closet and dresser space. Cute and cozy décor.
The cottage was centrally located, with many wonderful pubs/restaurants to choose from, which were easily assessable by foot. There were various shops to explore and a small, well stocked grocery store. We did not have a car. There were many busses that ran through town, going where ever one would possibly want to go, so a car really was not necessary. One could easily hike down to the Nevern estuary, the beach, the Pembrokeshire National Coastal path, or up to Carn Ingli and the pathways in the Preseli hills.
I could continue on and on.....but, this was the most awesome place to visit, and the nicest place I have ever rented! Best of all was the property manager's father, who lived next door and was so kind, helpful and accommodating. He honored our privacy, yet was there and available at all times when needed. He went above and beyond in making this visit to Wales so very special. Thank you!!!!

“Coedmor 1 – our all-time favourite”

We have enjoyed holidays in this cosy cottage in summer, winter, spring and autumn, and have always been delighted to find it perfect - warm and comfortable, clean and well equipped. The house is in a quiet and handsome street close to the centre of Newport with its restaurants, shops and other amenities. In addition, Coemor is ideally placed for wonderful coastal and mountain walks. The friendly owners are close at hand for help and suggestions. We certainly intend to keep coming back to our all-time favourite home-from-home! Babsi and Frank from Germany
