We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We were able to travel by boat and see all of the resorts along the island and i would choose this hotel again and again. The water was deep enough to jump off of but shallow enough to wade around. the other hotels look like the water was a lot deeper and you would have to tread water the whole time. The boat to the island to get to the restaurants worked perfect. WE LOVED THIS RESORT

When I initially planned a surprise 65th get away for my Dad I knew he wanted to go to Bora Bora but was unsure whether the honeymoon destination was going to be suitable for the whole family. Well it was and more!!!!

We stayed in the garden bungalows which were amazing with their self contained back garden complete with plunge pool, sunbathing area and covered seating area. We could let our daughter play in the garden whilst we were still getting ourselves organised for the day ahead knowing she was safe. The bungalows happened to be right by the mini golf course which provided a much needed break from the sun on more than a few occasions, and also provided something to do when it rained. On the subject of activities there’s so much to do, the kids were never bored. We played tennis, golf, went snorkelling, kayaking and paddle boarding and used the gym all with no additional fees.

I’ve read the other reviews mentioning the mosquitoes and yes they are present but it’s the tropics and I would expect no less. The hotel does everything it can to help we were handed mosquito spray at lunch at Miki Miki when the staff saw the mosquitos were becoming a nuisance and the guys handing out the golf clubs also provided us with some when we went to play golf one day. On top of this they provide cans of Raid in the rooms which we would spray before leaving the room every day and night just in case.

Happy hour runs from 5-6 everyday and in true islander fashion you sometimes didn’t even get the first drink until 5:45 but we would just order another one straight away and it was fine. Speaking of the bar don’t expect any late nights on the booze we would go down after dinner for a couple and at 8:30 they were starting to close up and by 9:30 we were surrounded by the cushions off of the pool chairs piled up on the bar stools as a subtle hint that they wanted to close This was the advantage of the seating areas outside of our garden bungalows, we had bought a couple of bottles of liquor on the way through LAX and could always have a night cap back at the room. But do you know what it didn’t matter because the early night meant you could enjoy this paradise resort everyday to the max.

The pool and beach always seemed pretty much deserted with ample chairs/loungers about and the beach just wow every picture I’ve taken looks like it’s out of a holiday brochure. White sand lined with palm trees, crystal clear shallow water blending into the darker bluer deeper water of the lagoon all with a back drop of mount Otemanu.....just stunning!

The only small criticism that we would have is that the children are given the same menu in every restaurant whether it was lunch or dinner which became very repetitive for my youngest who is fussy with food at the best of times so basically ate the same meal for lunch and dinner everyday.

All in all a fantastic stay at a fantastic resort with amazing staff, maruru Bora Bora Pearl Beach

Bora Bora Pearl Beach is a perfect place to spend a birthday, holiday or just relaxing. No better place to be than relaxing around the pool, enjoying a "cold coconut", catching a beautiful rainbow at Miki Miki's or feeling the gentle rain while playing on the beach. No day or color ever the same.....
Our beloved bungalow has always awaited our return to provide memories of a lifetime.....
The PB family always an extension of hospitality old and new past and present, ("15" birthday)......
Your smiling faces will be a welcome sight after the renovations. See you soon....
Maruruu & Merci Beaucoup

We stayed in this luxurious resort for our honeymoon last June 2017. It was a tropical paradise and we could not have chosen a better destination to end our quasi month-long honeymoon. We really did save the best for last! The facilities were squeaky clean, the staff was very friendly and pampered us up to the smallest service details. The food was amazing! Loads of activities to enjoy: SUP, kayak, coral school, snorkeling by the outer ocean tropical reef, swim with the sharks and stingrays! Even the evening Polynesian show was really entertaining! And everything felt exclusive and private: no crowded beaches, no noisy resort neighbors, just a stunning paradise with impeccable white sand, crystal clear (warm!!) water and the incontaminated nature all around. It was a resort on its own Motu, with the most beautiful view of the Otemanu. Woke up really early to catch the sunrise and its colors are breathtaking. Too bad I did not have the proper lens for some starry night pics! The Polynesian sky was something else! It was surreal. We never wanted to leave!
