Excellent location for staying in Avila, right next to the walled old part of town. Very comfortable, clean room with a quiet aircon. Parking below the hotel tight but secure with lift. A filling breakfast provided in the restaurant next to hotel. I would fully recommend this hotel for your trip to Avila.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, but the shower was broken. The room was on level 1, very noisy, toiletries almost non-exsistent.
The breakfast, included in the room rate, was awful. We were offered coffee, orange juice and a bocadillo, with either a Tortilla, Cheese, or Ham filling, plus a slice of cake and a biscuit!! The only good thing about this 'place' was the convenient location to the walled city. Don't think I will be returning.

Room tip: No idea, but our room, 106, was a corner room on the main road level, very noisy.

A very pleasant hotel, quiet, modern and clean. The lady that owns the place is very kind and always willing to help you out, even in bad English. The rooms are comfy with vibrant colours. It has a good location. I had a good experience overall in this hotel and town.

Avila has a magnificent walled city which is clearly a big tourist attraction. The Hostal Murallas is just across the road, outside one of the main main Gateways through these walls and is perfectly situated..... BUT find out exactly where it is before venturing in to Avila as the streets in the old part are a maze of one way system and we had some trouble locating the hotel.

The Murallas itself is small and simple with clean and well appointed rooms. Our reception on arrival, and in the restaurant, was not the usual more than friendly style which we normally seem to receive in Spain. I think that this may be due to the 100% Tourist Nature of this part of Avila. The food in the restaurant was very basic.... mashed potatoes with pork crackling, followed by simple kebabs with very greasy chips..... ok, but nothing to sing about!!

If we visit Avila again we would probably fiind a different hotel as there are a great many Hostal to choose from.
