The staff at The Farm couldn't have been more delightful if they had tried. Sharing broken conversation with the cleaner, the groundskeeper and of course the manager was definitely a highlight of staying at this hostel, which turned into my home.

The most transcending experience can be found in one of the hostels bathrooms. The open ceilings allow one to ponder life’s biggest questions as they gaze at the stars and the moon from the comfort of their porcelain throne.

The Farm Hostel is full of happy-go-lucky travellers, the atmosphere is wonderful and it comes equip with everything you need. The rooms are dorm style (with bunks) complete with a pool, aircon, free wifi, communal kitchen, outdoor bathrooms, regular yoga lessons in the court yard and easy access to scooters. Aryo, Cody and Taco make up the family (or staff) at the Farm - Aryo is super welcoming and has the best local knowledge and Cody is often floating around happy to answer any questions too. It's also really close to all of the beaches, cafes and night life surrounds. Would recommend to stay at during your time in Canggu, would re-visit without a doubt.

If you want the luxury of a private Balinese villa mixed with the rad vibe of a boutique hostel—The Farm has you covered. Three private-bunk rooms, 8-10 beds in each with en-suite shared bathrooms. Situated amongst rice terraces (for now) with a plunge pool, kitchen, TV, reliable Wi-Fi, Ping (or beer) Pong table and on site yoga classes. It’s clean, reasonably priced and if your cohabitors don’t keep you interested, the motley of hipster cafes and bars, surf and sight seeing are only a short scooter, bicycle or walk up the gang (lane) away.

It only took a week for the Farm to become home. I couldn't wait to get back after a less than welcoming stay away in Uluwatu. Now that I've been here a month, it's going to be really hard to say goodbye to the place! It's got everything you need: beautiful location, friendly staff, comfy beds, pool, wifi, and aircon. We had the run of the place, and Aryo and his friends became part of our enormous family. I'm grateful that they put up with all our antics as we completely took over for a month. I'll definitely be back.

PS. The water cooler in the kitchen is the best thing ever. Bring your own bottle and refill as often as you like.

Room tip: Air con is better in the downstairs room.

Staying here for as long as I did was an insane, ridiculously awesome experience. From Aryo to Taco to everyone else that makes this place go round- thank you guys so much. The atmosphere is so awesome, the pool is great for those days when you're a walking sweat drip and the location makes it easy to grab great food from anywhere along Batu Bolong as it's just a minute away. So grateful for this place- can't imagine staying anywhere else. Love love love love
