My boyfriend had a hankering for BBQ ribs after two weeks of Indonesia cuisine. He needed a little home cookin' and BU-Ba-Qs was a short walk from our hotel.
The restaurant was easy to find with a little help from Google Maps (it's not directly on the main road), and I liked how quiet and peaceful it was. The waves crashed nearby as Adele was played in the background.
Now, onto the food. The ribs were quite good. The meat fell of the bone. Literally, you had to eat with a fork because the meat just slipped off the bone. The BBQ sauce was also quite good. My only suggestion would be to have a wider variety of BBQ sauces to select from.
The sides were pretty good. Not to brag, but I make a mean mashed potato and these didn't really compare to my home cooked version. The cream cheese cauliflower was decent as well.
That said, this place was a great spot to have a couple drinks and enjoy a hardy meal.
