We got 4 rooms , all different .Worst thing happened that there were no water supply in one room (sea view) and most surprisingly hotel manager asked us to compromise with that condition that to in "order form".
In spite of being apologetic he was very rude and when we started discussing on that issue, he asked us to vacate all the rooms immediately.
We all were with 3 toddlers , so looking at our condition, we begged him to let us stay in the hotel.
Never recommend this to anybody , worst experience of hotel.

This is a small hotel located behind hotel uday samudra and exactly facing the sea. The approach road might make you wonder whether you are in a wrong place. But you are in the right place.

Please ask for the sea facing rooms. All the rooms are like typical houses in India and this is more like a home stay. The rooms are average and large bathroom. Some cleanliness might be required, but is get done when told to reception. The reception desk and the manager are very good and cooperative. The restaurant on the ground floor will provide you all sorts of north Indian and non-veg food. Vegetarian is also available. Do'nt take lassi as this is not the northindian lassi that everyone knows. the taste is different, which I did'nt like. You may try if you wish.

The best part is that you can relax in the room (sea facing) and watch the sea all day long. Both veg and non-veg restaurants are very close by and should'nt be a problem. The only problem is that you wo'nt be able to find authentic southindian dishes as everyone serves north Indian delicacies. You can have food on the beach side which is very relaxing especially in the morning and at late night.

The hotel is a value for money and ofcourse a great place for long duration stay.

Room Tip: take sea facing rooms.

This hotel is highly recommended. The rooms are very spacious and the service is second to none . The food in the restraint is amazing you can sit inside or on the sea wall. The views from the balcony are amazing, you can sit and watch the local fishermen pull in their nets every morning while listening to the sing and chant away to the sea gods , wonderful experience, highly recommended.

The name of the hotel justifies completely. as it is literally at the edge of Arabian sea. Just out of the world view from the hotel.
The owner is really polite and welcoming.
Very conviniently located. Stayed for 1 night, really wished could have stayed for more. Would surely recommend to everyone visiting Kovalam.

No ambience, rather grim. The service was poor, food was tasteless and over cooked, prices are very much higher along this beach then the lighthouse beach, but a lot of the eating shacks ufourtantly have gone down hill, however the hotels food standards have improved and most are very welcoming and happy to serve you. Nb avoid sitting on the wall ( there is no beach ) as the crashing waves often go over it.
