The owners were great and the cabins were great also. They left food for you to cook when you woke up in the morning. The curtains were great for blocking out the Alaskan night light for a good rest. Great price also. AN all aroubnd great experience!!!

Room Tip: You don't need any tips-they all are good!!

Our stay at Hatcher Pass B & B was wonderful ! What a great location. Our Grande Cabin was inviting, spacious, spotless and just beautiful. This was stop 5 of 6 and by far the best!! We really enjoyed having the option to relax and fix our own breakfast or eat on the run. Liz was there to greet us when we arrived and was very helpful in sharing things we didn't want to miss out on.

We highly recommend you stay here.

After spending 10 days in Wrangell-St. Elias N.P., we wanted to continue hiking in the beautiful area of Harchers Pass. Our cabin was cozy, comfy and well appointed with all we would need. It's my second stay here in 3 years and I appreciate the little things the owner does to personalize your stay. Plenty of info on hiking trails, road updates, local eateries, etc. I love the potted flowers awaiting you outside each cabin and the area to sit and grill!

This was the last stop in Alaska for my Husband and I. It was a charmingly appointed cabin and in a great setting. The cabin was well stocked with breakfast goodies and had everything you could need supplied for a nice stay. My Husband gave the bed two thumbs up as that's his deciding factor on a good place to stay. It had great "black out" shades, which were important in June with the sun not setting until 11pm. Liz also provided many suggestions on things to see and do and there was lot's of material in the cabin. A great log cabin....we will stay here again on a future trip!

Hatcher Pass B&B was 1 of 3 stops for me and my daughter's hiking, ice climbing, and kayaking adventure to Alaska. On arrival, met Liz, who was very responsive to pre-arrival requests and questions and even more hospitable and welcoming in person when sharing books and material that helped guide our vacation interests in the area. Her Gold Mint Trail recommendation, which was within a few minute drive of the cabin, was a great hike for us. I bet Hatcher Pass can be a beautiful recreation area any time of year. In addition to the full size bed and bunk beds, our cabin had a small kitchen (sink, counter, microwave, small refrigerator, dual electric hot plate, dishes, cups, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, and dish cleaning supplies). The refrigerator was stocked with breakfast food for our 3 mornings and Liz ensured we had everything we needed. In the evening we bought fish on our own and easily cooked a great meal. Overall a very positive experience, the B&B, hiking in Hatcher Pass and the Butte, and Ice Climbing with MICA guides at Matanuska Glacier.
