We had rented a car for the day while our cruise was in port. Didn't realize the agency was too fr to walk to. Pedicab to the rescue. James picked us up at the port entrance and took us to the rental office. He was very friendly and informative. If you are in Juneau, look for James and give him a try.

If you are looking for a good way to get the feel and layout of Juneau seek out Jim and his pedicab. Jim is a great guy and obviously enjoys what he does. He will give you a good sense of what Juneau is about and provides recommendations along the way. With only two of you in the pedicab it's obviously a very personalized tour! Once you are done with your tour you can head back to places you saw along the way.

Best cab in juneau! James was very friendly. When we got off our cruise ship later than other passengers because we had elderly people none of the regular cabs would take us the short distance to the tram station but James saved the day and took us. He was great! Thank you! Thank you!

My wife and I had a fantastic time getting a first-hand look around Juneau! James was very friendly and thorough in his descriptions of the city. He took us off the typical tourist trap route and showed us some interesting sights that few get to see. Many times, he would hop off the bike and get really descriptive with the building/statue etc., so that we would really understand why something was the way it was. Being a history teacher, I very much appreciated that!

Although he doesn't have "food" per se, he stops at a lot of local places and gets free samples of the local fare. Delicious!

When the tour is done, he will drop you off wherever you need to be, or tailor the tour so you finish where you started.

You don't need to tip, but you'll probably do it, anyway...

I made reservations way back in Jan. True to his word, James called me back Early June to confirm our Cruise time and when we would arrive, He was waiting for us when we docked. Modern pedicab with comfortable leather seats and cover should it decide to rain. I use a wheel chair so this was the best way for my husband and I to see this historic city. James is a retired Cost Guard Commander and really knows his history and so many unique details about Juneau. He had stories to tell, many statistics, and knows all the "crooks and crannies", which he was eager to share with us. We saw: The USS Juneau Memorial, Alaska Commercial Fisherman's Memorial, Taku Smokeries, The Red Dog Saloon, The Alaskan Hotel, Alaska Fudge Company, mining history, native culture, locals favorite shops and dining, and more. WHAT AN INTERESTING EXPERIENCE! It was so much fun to share Juneau with a really outgoing guy. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!
