It was a terrific experience going to Alaska this year (2017). At our stop in Juneau the capital city of Alaska we visited The Mendenhall Glacier along with the the Nuggets Falls. It was amazing the size of that blue and white enourmous glacier as an imponent and attractive view. Then just aside of it was the Nuggets Falls ,strong water jets falling giving a complete panorama to our sight. We walked along a trail for about a mile and a half and took us about 30 minutes to get there. We were adviced that might it be Bear activity during our walked to there so we were very concerned. Our visit was in May so at that period of time probably we wouldn't had the chance to encounter one and we did not , hopefully. When got to the falls we felt so overwhelmed about this place because this was something that we wanted to experience some day and finally we did. We where there and enjoy every second of it. Is a wonderfull place, full of nature and peace . It was cold to us because we from the caribbean , especially close to the falls but that didnt matter we got wet a little. We took a lot a pictures and moments to linger in our memories. Great experience there, no doubt , and is a most if you ever visit Alaska,
