The Nautilis Resort Restaurant was amazing. I had booked the Private Dinner Room months in advance and had been corresponding with Josh Woodward (possibly the Food and Beverage Manager), who had made the experience stress-free even before we got there. Every question was answered as promptly as possible.
Due to some unfortunate circumstances most of our dinner party couldn't make it to the allocated dinner date/time but the staff at the Resort were very kind and flexible and had been amazing at helping us out with that problem. Such amazing customer service that we are very grateful for!!
The Private Dinner room is absolutely beautiful and made the night even more special. Everything from the gorgeous table setting to the use of the sound system all made the night better than imagined. The waiters and waitresses were all very patient and friendly. We could not have asked for more of a pleasant experience with the Restaurant (hence the 5 stars).
As for the food, every single person from the dinner party were blown away with the quality of the food. The Ika Mata was fantastic! It was creamy, not too tangy and tasted amazing. As a big fan of Kumara (Sweet Potato), I thought that the Kumara Straw Fries were a very nice touch.
For mains I had ordered the Char Grilled Beef Fillet Mignon and it exceeded expectations. It was delicious, cooked to perfection and the mushrooms topped it off. It even came with a selection of delicious sauces.
Dessert was excellent. It had been the first time I had tried a Crème Brûlée and it was a perfect way to finish such a great dinner.
Overall we enjoyed our experience with the food and even the amazing staff members and will be returning here as soon as possible :)
