“Loved this hotel!”
Reviewed 16 March 2012

From the hammock on the patio to the wildlife in the gardens, this hotel is just the place for
a vacation. The staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good and the hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants.
Saw more wildlife at the Falls Resort than Manuel Antonio natural park.

Loved this hotel. It had Costa Rican ambiance with its woodwork and decor. Clean, big rooms with large closets and air conditioning. Large bathroom with lovely rock. Rock wall in bedroom. Mood lighting. Large shared balcony with comfy chairs, portable light for reading. Candles. Fridge. Leather couch. Huge comfy bed.....it compares to a high end hotel for way less. The restaurant was really good. The staff are friendly and attentive and helpful. The pool area is garden oasis with an infinity pool and its warm for swimming. Pool loungers are awesome too. Had iguanas and birds. Loved, Loved, Loved this hotel. Within walking distance of other good restaurants too. On bus route to Manuel Antonio park.

Tremendous! An oasis in paradise.
My wife and I spent twelve thoroughly enjoyable days here having our expectations exceeded at every turn. We had a beautiful, comfortable room which, with the in room air conditioning, ensured we always rose rested and ready to take on the day. Whether lounging by the pool, looking to partake of one of the numerous activities offered by local adventure companies (zip lines, sport fishing, quad riding, horseback riding…), or simply interested in a romantic walk on the beach, the staff was always available and eager to provide any assistance necessary. Shops and nightlife are within walking distance, and with local bus service only 50 cents, the location is ideal for easy access to either Quepos or the Park at Manuel Antonio.
This resort is the perfect size with beautifully maintained grounds providing just the right sense of privacy while offering a generous taste of local plant and animal life to experience up close.
I’ve traveled to many places in the world and never experienced better meals and service than we did at the Falls Resort. We both look forward to a return visit.

We stayed here the last few days of our vacation in Costa Rica (Feb-Mar 2012). This was by far my favorite. Like others have said, by the looks of the front of the building, it doesn't look like it is going to be much of a place. This quickly changes when you walk into the open air sitting area/bar/restaurant. Our room was a standard room - I can't even imagine how the deluxe can be better! Our room was very spacious and clean. It was like our own little villa with a private patio with chairs and a hammock.

The wet bar included beer, wine, soda, chips, water, etc. I loved the pool, small, but it was never crowded. I did find the hot tub was too hot for me.

The food was great. My husband raved about the sea bass. He enjoyed it so much he ordered it again the second night. If you want to enjoy a great cocktail, have a pura vida - they make them the best! The wait staff was very friendly (as was all the staff) .

The bus stop is just a few steps away from the front door. It costs 250 colones ~ 50 cents and the ride to the beach was only minutes.

Room Tip: The standard rooms are little villas - most are double villas. We had villa 6 which is the only roo...

The people at this resort went out of their way to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Any time We wanted information, to book a tour, to make another reservation, go buy bus tickets all I had to do was ask. Done so helpful. Clearly the Tico people are all about pleasing, they are happy to please. I would highly recommend this resort. A tropical paradise. The room was comfortable, clean and private. My adult daughter and I had a great time at this resor.

Room Tip: Number 7 was just far away.
