We had a delicious late supper with Caribbean style coconut rice and fried plantains. We would go back again for sure...

We ate here because it was next to our hotel. I had squid in garlic sauce with beans and rice, fried plantains and salad. The squid was like eating rubber bands, and the garlic sauce had very little garlic. The beans and rice were tasteless, the worst we had in ten days in costa Rica. The salad was good and the plantains were very good.
My wife had avocado and hearts of palm salad which was very good.
Unless you are staying at the bed and breakfast next door, don't bother.
I don't know why this is listed as being in PV, it's in Cocles around the corner from Calle Margarita. Probably why I didn't read about it before our trip! We were directed here by passerby, and this was one of our best finds. It was very quiet each time we ate here (we were the only table the first time, one of 2 the second time), the staff was very sweet, friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. It was about $10pp for dinner, my favorites were the shrimp and pork chop. Their rice is out of this world. Off the beaten path on a residential street. We will go back at least once on our next visit!
Small family owned and operated local restaurant with excellent caribbean style food with fresh ingredients. Super rondon and seafood.
