Location is just over 1 hour drive from airport in Liberia, Costa Rica. If you book the shuttle when you make reservations at Rythmia, then the cost is just a little more than a cab... but more comfortable and safer! From top to bottom, the staff at Rythmia are the best at making you feel comfortable and well cared for. Most speak English very well. The food at Rythmia is healthy and delicious! My room was clean and comfortable. A wide variety of activities such as motivational speakers, yoga, meditation, breath work, and plant medicine all make Rythmia a great place to seek life advancement breaking old thought patterns, releasing blockages that may be holding you back, and discovering new awareness. I've visited Rythmia three times in the past year, and am blessed for having done so.

So to keep it short and sweet, the resort itself was extremely nice and spacious with great staff, extremely good food which is actually healthy, no red meat but always poultry and fish options otherwise mostly vegetarian, so the resort itself I would give a full rating on amenities and quality, however that's before their life advancement program, a large group of people don't quote me but 50-100 people start off as strangers and by the end there is a real sense of family, they have a schedule recommended to be followed with workshops and classes with wonderful teachers and speakers. For the actual life advancement part with the ceremonies, quickly put it takes you on a journey within yourself and actually heals the soul, because once you heal what's up there what's down here follows in suit. I said in my description they put a price on a miracle, well they did and miracles are priceless, 10/10 will definitely be planning to stay again likely within the same year. the rooms themselves are clean and spacious, fully functional ac and wifi obviously, buffet style meals. On a personal note I was plagued with social anxiety that was bad to the point of only leaving home for work on top of other emotional problems that have been fully resolved, coincidentally I wear glasses, I actually need glasses to drive however after a week here I no longer need them to see and others have experienced even more in terms of physical ailments being healed or past traumas. I probably skipped over a few things but this would be my personal highlights of the stay, cannot recommend it highly enough, the price is rather high but if you were deciding between here and another resort, one must ask themselves what they end up taking back, sunburns? A couple of trinkets from a shop? No, an entirely new perspective on life because of the dedication of all the amazing people working together to heal humanity at this beautiful little corner of the world. Shout-out to Gerard A. powell the architect of this place who was a millionaire several times over, because the price could've easily been increased as a more exclusive experience but it only takes what is needed to cover its expenses as it is very well staffed and offers a premium life experience. If anyone actually read through and is still on the fence, this was the most amazing week of my life, with all my heart I say, go get your miracle.

I went to Rythmia back in November 2018, it has taken me a while to write this review but I am happy that I am writing it now as the effects of staying there for 1 week have changed my life and I see the benefits these few months later. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and would remember my name which I thought was a nice touch, it was very geniune, they really cared. The food is outstanding and I would always go for the delicious coconut water, so tasty. There is a gym, and I loved the steam room, and plunge pools, plus the swimming pool and lounge area. It was great to be able to hire a bike for free, I would just say they need to keep the bikes covered like under a shed because the bikes were a bit rusty and hard to adjust, I'm tall but I know if you are shorter you would not be able to put the seat down on the bike.
This is no holiday you are working on yourself with the ayahuasca, it was very professionally done and we had a lot of classes in the daytime about it before the ceremonies each evening, there was also a medical done as soon as you arrived at Rythmia, I felt very safe. The owner Gerry was so charismatic beyond words, his talk was very interesting about his life and why he started Rythmia. I remember when I decided to book Rythmia and I was thinking about the cost that it was quite pricey, however now I understand that there is no price on your health and what you gain from going to Rythmia and working on your inner self. This is the most valuable 'holiday' I have ever had in my life and worth every penny. I met some amazing beautiful souls, that I am still in contact from all ages and walks of life. Rythmia advise to work on yourself after you leave and listening to this advice has improved my life as it is also what you put in after that will make this a magical experience. I would recommend everyone go to Rythmia at least once in their life.

Rythmia is a wonderful place to restore your sanity and soul and be among some amazing people, both the staff and the guests. The food is very tasty, abundant, and most importantly healthy and good for the planet. I highly recommend it. You can feel the Love.

Rythmia is an amazing place created by an amazing group of people. It's a resort that offers luxury of experience rather than luxury of kit. It is beautiful, set among trees with visiting monkeys, lots of iguanas, birds, and no airplanes flying over. The rooms are large and comfortable, but the attention is on the retreat you are there for, and thus every little detail is thought through for you. You have all you need, but you do not tend to need anything that is not there. The most amazing thing about Rythmia are the team of people who look after you and who help you have life changing experiences through yoga, breath work, plant medicine, meditation, workshops and through communion with you. Many of our group keep in touch with the beautiful, selfless and superbly trained Rythmia team. They help you experience a group of 85 people on your retreat as your family. I keep in touch with at least 10-15 people regularly, I have made friends for life, and I am not the most social person. As for the life changing experience - it is impossible to describe the uniqueness of what each of us took away and continues to develop (I stayed two weeks so saw two groups - one of 85 and the other of 70ish people) . I can instantly name 8 people who arrive deeply unhappy and left happy. I saw people who cured their long term depressions and illnesses. And keeping in touch with them I learned their changes are lasting as are mine. For those who have no major dramas, the beauty of diving deep into oneself and discovering new layers is just as amazing. Oh, yes, and the food is organic and home made, the pool is lovely, as is the music, the beach is close and gorgeous and they drive you there too and pick you up... Go alone, go with your mum, go with your 20year old, go with your spouse or a friend... Anything goes, and you will not be lonely, nor will you have company you don't want.
