We stayed at Vista Perfecta 2, Apt 7 for two weeks in March so can offer a thorough assessment of this facility and the local area. To start with, the residence is dIfficult to find. Surely an English-speaker could have provided written directions that will get you from the airport to the apartment. (Approaching Coco, the main road becomes divided by a boulevard. The boulevard is marked by a white anchor. On the right side there is a yellow shop "Coco Mart." Just before the anchor, turn left onto a dirt road and continue 80 meters to the third dirt road on the left - do not cross the bridge. There is a sign directing to Vista Perfecta 2 with a yellow arrow. Follow this dirt road approximately 600 meters. Drive slowly, there are numerous "speed bumps." Vista Perfecta 2 is on the left.)
Here are some specific comments about Vista Perfecta 2 (Apt 7):
A grill was advertised for the unit but there wasn't one (neither communal nor private).
Unit 7 was not the unit advertised in the photographs (believe that was unit 2 or 3).
Air conditioner not optimal because the interior louvers were missing for both the main floor and the bedroom a/c.
Neither of the rooftop terraces of this unit had sunshades making use during the day nearly impossible.
Internet is so unreliable it is useless and should not be advertised as available. Internet improved slightly when in the courtyard. Days went by when there was no internet and when it was available, it was very intermittent. When pointed out to management, the response was "many people are using it."
The kitchen was poorly equipped - no saucepans and no cookware for the oven or microwave for example.
The futon/couch in sitting room is uncomfortable for sitting on for any period - need chairs or a proper sofa.
There was no water available on at least two occasions (tanks ran dry).
Hot water (beyond tepid) was non-existent throughout the stay. To wash dishes properly, water had to be boiled in a kettle.
Parking is inadequate for the 17 units at peak time (Easter). On two occasions our car was blocked in by others.
The washer/dryer are inadequate for residents and management. When the management was washing linens between guests, the machines were unavailable to guests all day, into the evening.
The residence is about 1.2 kms from the nearest supermarket and 2.5 kms from the town of Coco so a car is recommended.
The pool water appeared clean and refreshing but there was considerable sand accumulating on the bottom of the pool. There was no sign that it was vacuumed during our two-week stay.
In summary, adequate for a 1-2 night stay but go somewhere else for a comfortable stay any longer. The Flipkey listing is misleading.

Vista perfecta #7 was a great place to come to...close enough to town but no road noise. There was a great little pool for cooling off at any time of day, and the apartment was stocked with most of what one needs to cook.
We did not like the fact that the pictures of what we booked were of a different condo in the complex...so it was a surprise to see this. However we managed just fine, it's just that the condo we booked online looked much nicer.
The bed was quite old so you felt the springs when you lied down, but this is quite common in Costa Rica. Also the laundry washer was not functioning very well, I think due to water supply, so it took hours and hours to do a load.
All in all, the place was clean, safe, and really quite nice inside and out, and I would recommend staying here while on your travels. The sofa folded down for one or two more to stay, and the roof top terrace was way cool for star gazing.
And Romel was great and very easy to deal with.
Thank you Romel!
Vista perfecta 2 is a gorgeous little complex that I'd recommend to anyone visiting Coco. It felt very safe, and Romel and the other owners who were there were very friendly and helpful about the area. The staff was also very accommodating. It was a little bit difficult to find at first, even our cab driver didn't know where it was because there isn't a street name. But once there, it was easy to get around. It's about a 10 minute walk to the closest grocery store and about a 20-30 minute walk to the beach and tourist strip loaded with local bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. All in all, a lovely stay.
