i have one very fond memory of el cerdo. it was some years back, and a friend and i were having dinner here. the owner, werner, was carving out a massive, massive slab of very expensive cured pork for a table next to us. we were looking at it longingly, and he noticed it. while the table wasn't looking, he slipped us a small plate with two or three thin slices of the pork. he didn't know us, and we weren't regulars, but it was such a nice thoughtful gesture, we thought (although maybe that table wouldn't have agreed, had they known, heheh). but anyway, ya, i think of el cerdo as a restaurant where many folks have had fond memories. ok, ending my rambling now
