Clean, spacious and private bungalows, in front of the Arenal Volcano. Not bad. They have a small refrigerator, a bed, a TV (never used), a sink, a good size closet, and a big bathroom, with a nice shower. You can sit outside and if you're lucky you can enjoy a great view of the Arenal VolcanoThe grounds are well-kept and nice looking. The breakfast is small (Option 1 with traditional rice and beans; Option 2 with fruits). Staff is friendly and accommodating (one day, they prepared breakfast earlier for us). Overall, a very good stay.
My only complaint is the noise from neighboring hostel (Howler Monkey) and cabins across the street. Saturday night was rowdy. If you are a light sleeper this may be an issue.
It's a bit far from town (25' walking along Diagonal 301 and 702). A taxi will cost around USD 3 (CRC 1500, always cheaper to par in Colones!) and will take 5' to get to town. On the good side, if you're going to the La Fortuna Cataratas (I'd not recommend them), you're there after a 15' walk.
There's a nice restaurant Tequicia, almost at the corner of 301 and 702.
