“Stay in a little paradise close to town.”
Reviewed 22 May 2016 for a stay in January 2016

"Thank you William, Laura and Nohelia for your very warm welcome and for arranging all the tours before our arrival. Giovani was the best! He was so good with my two grandchildren, and his volcano and night tour was very informative. His sanctuary is beautiful. The Sky Trek bridge walk and zip lining was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much. Your place is so close to town, but with your beautiful garden and view of the volcano you feel like you are in your own little paradise. I was having a hard time finding a place to stay that was close to town. I am so glad I discovered your place. It was a great way to celebrate my 65th birthday with my family. I hope we can return some day."

“Great place, it was everything we needed”
Reviewed 11 May 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The Riverbank had an amazing view of the Volcano. I cannot stress enough how wonderful our stay was. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to Costa Rica. William, Laura and Nohelia were super helpful and very friendly. We felt welcomed at all times.

The backyard was beautiful and we were even able to see all kinds of wild life. Beautiful!

““Comfortable and great location for walking to most attractions””
Reviewed 19 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I would definitely stay here again! It was a great trip with a lot of memories made thanks to the wonderful owner of this place. It was the perfect space in the best location. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook. Outside is a beautiful garden and only a short walk into the heart of town. The staff was warm and polite couldn't ask for a better group of people. Thank you for having us!

“Fabulous homebase in La Fortuna!”

The location is amazing! It is an easy walk into the center of the town of La Fortuna. We did not have a car and did not feel isolated at all. We really appreciated the fact that we did not need to take a cab or drive to dinner after a full day of activities. Or if our scheduled tour/activity was later in the day, it was pleasant to walk into town in the morning and hit the local bakery. It gave us a sense of life in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The apartment was very clean, simply and tastefully decorated, with air-conditioning and hot water. Beautiful view of the volcano, Arenal. Another reviewer commented that the walls of the two bedrooms do not go up to the ceilings. This did not present any issue for us. We had William and Laura book a few activities for our group. We found that they used absolute professionals for all their tours and activities. Highly recommend the Volacano Hike, zip-lining and white-water rafting. William and Nohelia were great resources about the area and gave us many insiders tips. William was readily available for any question/issue. He even let our kids play catch with his dog and treated us with a loaf of artisanal bread. I should stress that this is not a resort. You will not be at an all-inclusive, secluded hotel. This property is part of the La Fortuna community and with the help of William, Laura, and Nohelia you will feel like part of it during your stay. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Management Response
18 Apr 2016
Thank you for leaving such a lovely review! I think you covered it all ;-) It's great that you pointed out that this is a house rental (or in this case condo rental) as apposed to a hotel or resort. We do offer full time customer support, which is something that none of the rental property companies in this area have. This means that we are available as much or as little as you need, especially with our new premier concierge service for after hours assistance. As you mentioned we also offer to arrange activities. I can't stress enough how important it is to plan tour in advance. We had a family last night who wanted to do the hanging bridges today but unfortunately there was no space and they check out tomorrow. Unlike other countries where you can book an activity the same day, here it is very difficult to do so because of availability or scheduling. It was a pleasure to have you stay with us and we hope to host you again :-)
