The smoked pork ribs are amazing!, the chicken was also nice and tender. The side orders include yuca plantain, delicious!. Main offers are pork chicken and beef, I did not try any seafood but they have some options on the menu. Even though it is a small place the ambiance is quite nice. The service was only OK, we found ourselves trying to get the attention of the waiter several times. Worth a visit if you like good pork!

We stayed next door to this restaurant and wandered over(3 times!). We had the chicken fingers off the kids menu and they were so flavorful, not the fake stuff you get in the US. We also ordered a BBQ platter for 8 ppl which came with fried yucca, salad and plantains for each person. The platter had ribs, steak, chicken and chicharrones(fried pork). Another night my husband had the sirloin with shrimp and jalapeño, which he ordered medium, but came as medium well- according to US cooking. Our friends from CR with us said they tend to over cook meat in CR so if you like a rare steak make sure to explain the color you want. The steak still had good flavor. Our friend ordered Arrozo con Camerones and he said it was very good. The prices were a little above the normal range but not too bad. The servers were friendly and the location was great! With 13 of us, there service was a little slow but we kind of expected that. It it was my birthday and they were so nice to bring me a cake!

Went here twice during our recent stay. The food is grilled over natural wood fire, and they specialize in smoked "ribs" hanging above the wood-fired grill pits. The "ribs" are smoked pork belly, and they are heavenly. Absolutely amazing. We also had grilled chicken breast, which was juicy and very tasty. Sides are great too, baked potatoes were more like roasted, juicy and fresh. Loved how they grilled plantains over the fire instead of the fried plantains commonly served in most places. The staff spoke great english as well.

Staff was really nice. If you like ribs and don't mind a little fat, these ribs were amazing. You can see the chef prepare them and your mouth waters when he takes them off the grill.

Delicious wood-grilled steaks and BBQ, and something for everyone. The ribeye steaks are fantastic -- as good if not better than a premium steakhouse for a fraction of the cost -- and the BBQ ribs are fall-off-the-bone amazing. Lots of food, and the grilled plantains are to die for! You will not be disappointed!
