Description: Our cuisine features a contemporary concept, influenced by the classic European cuisine, Asia and Latin America, from an eloquent and modern perspective. Our steaks are locally produced, with very high farming standards; and our seafood and fish dishes are amongst the preferred by our guests, for whom our menu also offers many vegetarian options, made with ingredients which, in most cases, are harvested in our own farm, pesticide-free.

The restaurant is not cheap, however the food is very good and the menu is extensive. All food is fresh and quick to serve. Staff are pleasant and professional. Wine is very expensive at this restaurant. Nice ambience with soft music in background. Good for a special meal out. Unfortunately if you are vegetarian, there is only a limited choice of meals and after trying, are adequate but too expensive. Portions are good.

Sometimes you want something a little fancy while you are in Arenal. Something offsite from your hotel, authentic with a little twist. This place was so delicious. They had traditional Costa Rican dishes with a bit of a nouveau twist. So we had like an aracini ball made with casava flour. Or like, grass fed rib eye, with traditional side sauces. Their casado plate came with like this BOMB hash that had Papaya in it. So like most restaurants in Arenal/ La Fortuna it is open air, but they still managed to get this cozy feeling through out. The staff there were accommodating and gave us so many recommendations. The ceviche had large chunks of fish in it and was served with these casava chips. The empanadas had a delightful dill sauce with them. The portions are good, so you will leave full. The desserts were just as good as the food. We ordered a lemon shortbread custard dessert that was so refreshing and decadent. Also a scoop of ice cream (made from happy cows) with house made chcolate.
This restaurant is probably the closest you will get to a downtown/ millennial/ hipster gastropub. But there is no snooty attitudes or long waits. Definitely worth it.
They accept colones/ credit cards/ and US dollars. Will also call you a taxi/ or your driver back to your hotel afterwards.

I highly recommend the Tom Yum soup as a starter. It was excellent! My husband and I shared the lamb shoulder and it was delicious!!

Cannot confirm some of the negative reviews.
Service was good and very friendly. Food was just awsome. Had good Empanadas, amazing Filet Mignon perfectly grilled and amazing Costa Rican Casado experience. Very good red wine by the glass. And the prices ok for the quality you get.

We ordered the roasted lamb for two. It was very tender and flavorful, came with roasted potatoes, and was covered with a nice fennel salad. We had a couple of decent wines by the glass. The waiters did a nice job. I would just say that it is not worth the price you pay. There’s just not enough variety to be a new and inventiveness or interesting flavors in the food. As well, they could do a much better job on the wine by the glass menu. There is a tremendous amount of street noise.
