Its a good museum if you want to understand the history of China. No need to go for a tour guide. Do keep sufficient time on hand.

Worth a visit if you are in the area, staff friendly and easy to get around. The day I was there it was raining but still worth popping in to see some of the Chinese Culture.

A good place to visit if you are tired of all the crowds everywhere.

A lot of exhibits which help you understand more Chinese history. Lovely souvenirs can be found at the gift shop.
