This resort is 1.5 hour ferry trip from Nandi. We stayed in a beach side Bure with our own private spa. The room is beautifully appointed with fridge and coffee/tea making facilities . Comfortable beds and fresh beach towels supplied daily. Continental breakfast is supplied but all other meals are a la carte . Food is expensive but tasty. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

An exceptionally well run adults only resort that is staffed with finely trained and friendly Fijians. Designed to allow you to either disappear or join in the fun. We spent five days there and took advantage of the free scuba class (and a paid dive), cat sailing, kayaking around the island, and snorkeling. Kudos to Seko who took us under his wing, and Em & Trevor who run the dive shop.

Room tip: Shoot for Villa #15 if you want maximum privacy and quiet

Our 5th visit to Matamanoa. Why do we keep coming back? The atmosphere is laid back, there is always plenty to do, the staff are super friendly and know you immediately, the food is fabulous, the snorkelling right from the beach is superb. We arrived right after Cyclone Winston and everything had been cleared of debris. There was some coral damage, but inshore there were patches of thriving coral and tons of fish. Can't wait to do trip number six!

We had a great time here, there's plenty of activities to keep you active all day or just sit back and in joy the view.
Great fishing action and a special mention to Apisai and Koli for there efforts in making sure I got that big fish. If going there to do some fishing I would recommend bring some gear as there lure range is very limited, they need to invest in a heap of lures, fluoro carbon leader and decent egg beater reels that are strong enough to troll with.
I would recommend bring some drinks as they are over priced and can add up quick on them hot days.
The staff are very friendly and fantastic.
Seeing whales was unexpected.
Swimming with the turtles was a highlight for my wife.
We loved it and will be back.

Would return in a heart beat!
We did 4 days/ 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time!
We snorkelled everyday and on the last day saw three turtles!
Buy water and snacks before you go as everything's more expensive on the island.
We got sea legs after leaving the island so next time I would take sea sickness tablets
