Must make appointment as I believe most tables are reserved. Located on the ground floor of Mimosa Hotel and has a small parking lot for about 15 cars.
Have visited many Perenakan restaurants in Meleka but always return to this one when in Meleka. Dont miss the lemongrass tea and the Babi Chili Garam.

We heard the food is good here. So, we decided that we should pay a visit to try.

The service crew that took our order was quite unprofessional(rude). We were 5 and ordered 4 dished and 1 started. The service crew said we ordered too less, saying that the dishes are small and most of what we ordered are snack portion. We decided to add more as the service crew told us that it will be a long wait if we top up later.

Ended up we have too much food and the dishes were out very quickly so as other tables.

I am very doubtful about the honesty of the staffs in this restaurant.

Food is good but would not recommend. There are many good nyonya restaurant in Malacca with better service.

Samfu is located inside Mimosa Hotel. Limited parking available, maybe 20-25 parking lots only. If you are heading there, search/look out for Mimosa Hotel.

We called to make a booking and the only available dinner slot was 8.30pm. But, they called us at around 7pm to inform that we can we can go earlier. We ordered almost 10 dishes and every dishes turned out really good. We really like the babi cili garam (spicy pork slices), steamed ladies fingers, achar and pongteh chicken.

Some special dishes require pre-order. So, do call up and enquire.

The sambal fish very nice. Udang superb. Sambal petail yummy. Overall dining experience is nice. I realised the food quality is better in weekday. Weekend standard a bit out of taste especially the udang nenas and cendol. I hope they continue maintain good status and pricing a bit high. Average dining per person is around RM40 to RM50. However the ambience is beautiful.

A Peranakan-Chinese restaurant that serves good good food. Must trys are the chicken rendang, babi chilli garam and sambal petai with anchovies. Generally, Peranakan food is quite good in Melaka but this one is definitely one notch above. For drinks, recommended is the lemon grass hot tea.
