This is an actual Baba House that has now been turned into a museum. All the furniture and decor are true to the owner, which is fascinating.
I am a Nonya myself, so much of the info was not new to me, but having a guide book and being able to wander around on my own was a fun way to explore, rather than having a guide talk the whole time.
The place is dark, but this is the way the old houses were built. The place is cool and airy, even though there are few windows and the weather is very hot outside.
It is a very good glimpse into life as a Baba in the old days.More
