Step into the past with all the modern conveniences. Public areas feel like private. Fresh flowers ( and beautiful smells ). Perfect little touches such as local delicacies ( candies , cookies , preserved fruit etc.. beautifully displayed and encoursnged to try gives a god connection with local life.

Staff is wonderful . Thank you Maarof ( food and beverage manager for taking the time to tell us about Malacca, and Malaysia. )
The Spa s a must ...the special local touches at every step of the treatment as well as the decor was perfect.and the gym though small is adequate and has towels and bottle water READY at each Treadmill...... ( and apples )

Walk across the street over the bridge and get a feel of updated Malay Kampung ( with inhabitants )
Just a block away is a chinese temple and real street life with Chinese shops and Indian shops supplying food, flowers, kitchen utensils, spices, fabrics, shoes and clothing stores, koptiams, outdoor food stalls restaurants’s....

The Majestic Malacca Perfect way to enjoy Malacca. You own haven.

We flew in to KL and came straight out to Melaka. Tired after an extremely long flight we arrived during earth hour and it was actually quite magical. The welcome was second to none and throughout our stay the staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. It was a nice gesture to have tea and Nyonya deserts served in our room upon our arrival. The room was immaculate, spacious, and very comfortable. Cleaned daily with bottled water being provided. The only issue I would take is with the use of plastic as other hotels provided carafes. It was a nice touch to provide Nyonya deserts in the evening in our room Breakfast was in the dining room in the older part of the hotel. Hot food with local dishes available were cooked to order and were very tasty and the buffet had everything you would require and more.
The welcome and the service we received set the tone for the rest of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Melaka and our time at The Majestic. Would happily recommend.

This was a lovely boutique type hotel retaining many of the past colonial features in the front part of the hotel (reception, common areas and restaurant). The staff were always polite and welcoming which makes this small hotel shine.

Our room 905 was very comfortable with similarities in style to the Majestic in KL but a slightly smaller room and bathroom. Breakfast was very good with a mix of help yourself for cold items and a'la carte for cooked items. A nice pool for cooling down after a hot days sightseeing.

The hotel is in a quiet location and only a 10-15 minute walk to the old part of town so perfect combination.

We were given real VIP treatment from the moment we parked our car. The staff are extremely attentive without being intrusive. The service and experience can only be described as 1st class.

The food is wonderful and the chef is very proud. We have found that the food is exception in the hotel and outside it.

This hotel is well located near the main attractions of Malacca. It is a marvellous old heritage hotel. The original building is at the front of the hotel, and a more modern building is attached to the back of the hotel. The hotel has a riverfront position.

Our suite was clean, very modern and well furnished with a king-size bed. The room was very spacious with a separate lounge area.

Excellent bathroom with quality amenities and toiletries.

Good wifi connection in the room and throughout the hotel.

Breakfast is a combination of self service buffet and à la carte choices. The à la carte choices were simply spectacular. This was not the tired old buffet available in most hotels. The cooking was innovative and a great way to start the day.

Sleep quality is very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was very quiet.

The hotel has a swimming pool.

The hotel has a well-equipped gym.

The restaurant at this hotel is one of the best in Malacca. We enjoyed a wonderful Kristang meal cooked by the resident celebrity chef (she has published a cookbook). We noticed that she runs a cooking class.

Staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with and very helpful.
