We only heard about this lovely place through the grapevine, but as were staying at he nearby CSM, we hunted it out. You can get there via the CSM's taxi rank, but through the Tibetan market is easier for most people. Once there it's a lovely open and airy setting, almost like a beach shack inland. Great authentic curries at really low prices, most around 200 rupees, and with friendly service. I had my first Pork Vindaloo there, which was pretty good, and the OH loved her Kadai, and on another visit her Dupiaza. They do a great kebab there, called Angara or Achari I think, which is served soaked in rum and served Flambe style- delicious and so juicy! So good i went there to have it again as my last meal in Goa
And i must admit we did have chips, which were proper home made ones.
So ignore the steak comment, try a curry and you won't be disappointed.
