Oportunidade de estar perto de símbolos do carnaval pernambucano, isto representa a visita à casa dos bonecos gigantes. Lá é possível conhecer sua história e como são fabricados.

Opportunity to be near symbols of Pernambuco carnival, this represents the visit to the house of the giant dolls. There you can know its history and how they are manufactured.

We visited this museum while doing a tour with Masurtur.
Nice small museum in the hearth of Recife.
You will see a collection of giant dolls that they use during the Carnival.
Most of the dolls represent famous people from music, politic, films and sports.
The entry fee is only 10 Reals per person.
The museum is small but interesting.
It is located just next to the KahalZur Synagogue.

Nice, but not really worth the time unless you are specifically into this kind of art. It was cool to hear a bit about how they make the dolls though.

I am sure any body visiting Olinda will not miss. A place to see the Big Bubble heads and take some souvenirs.

If you have never ever seen a boneca then may be it is worth it; otherwise they charge 10 Reais for a very small room which you can just take a peak in ... not worth it.. go to the one in Olinda

Worth the visit, to see the large amount of "Bonecos gigantes" in exposition.
You can also buy your own "boneco" there.
