Had been here in Jan 2012 for a wedding. The place looked great on the website before going there. The place did turn out to be good only for the activities outside the hotel room. It was good fun enjoying swimming, and playing indoors. It felt like a large resort with a lot of things to do to keep yourself busy. Being with some old friends also contributed to the fun I must admit.
However, the rooms were a bit of a letdown. Expected more modern rooms and importantly more clean. If you are going to just stay in the hotel rooms, there might be better options...

The place in itself is nicely done. Its a beautiful place, however, the linen provided by the hotel is pathetic. I stayed there for 3 days and could not dare to use their quilt. Used my own sheet.

The AC was broken, though i did not have to use it, but the front grill was completely broken. The TV remote did not work and was again broken, had to use a pen to insert into the slot to change channels.

The toilets stink too bad. incidentally, it was the exhaust fan which malfunctioned. If its switched on, it throws in the fowl smell of the shaft.

Really bad place. Sadly i am forced to stay there again in April, and i am already scared.

Room Tip: If at all you have to stay at this place, try to stay in the rooms close to the pool. Though the linen used might just be the same I guess.

we had been to ibiza resort on 19 th till20 th dec for a wedding function. frankly we had a low expectation abt the place but we were surprised to findplace full of greenery and small lake and clean. resort covers huge area and have abt 15 cottages set in ethnic decor with attached bath and room in another block. though bathrooms in the coottages are not good at all and needs lotof improvment but thier service is excellent. they hv a decent lawn in fornt of the cottages and a decent size swimming pool.however some times there is lot of disturbance bcoz of people cmg for day picnic. but iot gets over by afternoon. food quality is avg. however for a place like calcutta its a refreshing change.it's good for family outiing for a short weekend.

Room Tip: rooms are bigger in size but they r in upper floors and cottages are infront of lawn.

I stayed here in Jan 2012 wen I was in Kolkatta attending a program at IIM Calcutta at Joka. This place is around a 30 mins drive from IIMC. The rooms are decent, clean and comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet arranged. I would not mind staying here the next time I am at IIMC.

You can get a bungalow, a cottage or a regular room. Don't go for the cottage in winter as it will get very cold at night.

It is far away from the city center and around 2.5 hours from the airport. If your are travelling to IIMC you will need to take a taxi to Joka (prepaid) and then pay by meter from Joka to Ibiza. The taxi driver will usually take two hundred rupees regardless of what the meter says. Most of my course batch mates paid the same amount.

Room Tip: Ask for the pool facing room.

I am sure the purpose of the trip would be the most defining factor. I stayed there as a student at IIM Joka, hence did not have much to complain of. The place is well spread out and away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms, although are not the classy ones, there is nothing that you can complain of. It is simple, however well maintained.

The food was average again, which is ok.

On an overall basis, i would say a good place to stay with ample walkways, a pool, a bar, a restaurant, indoor games etc..

Room Tip: Ask for a Bunglaw, I am told.
