This cafe is a really great place to sip tea, stare at still mountains, and feel the cool breeze of Darjeeling. I kept having ginger tea here because it felt so warm and cozy in the wintry weather of December.
When you enter the cafe, you can choose to sit under the shade or below the sky. Sitting outside, you can see the Lloyd Botanical Garden, the Japanese Monastery, lush green tea gardens laid out on the hills, and the town. Even if you close your eyes, you won't miss the chirping birds flying around.
One of the most charming things about the cafe is the music that Rumba puts on his stereo. All the funky rock songs from the past make you move your head with the rhythm. It makes the experience of having the tea all the more delightful.
I went to this cafe every day (except one) after I found it. Don't miss this place out if you are stopping by at Darjeeling!
