Beautiful rooms, old Rajasthani Royal photos and decor, good food, good staff. They even have a tiny little gift shop. A decent breakfast buffet served a variety of Indian and western items. Pool area is relatively small but did not bother me at all.

Room Tip: Book when they have specials going, you get almost half off.

Like the title says, this repurposed palace is a fantastic place to stay while in Jaipur. The rooms have modern amenities but are stylised in the local architecture. The food is great (would recommend the Rajasthani Thali - a local specialty) and dinner is served on a rooftop terrace overlooking the city. Every night there are dancers and live musicians to entertain you and we were invited to join them one night which was a great laugh. While it might be a little bit more expensive it is definitely worth it. The hotel offers options to hire drivers but we found an independent company to be more helpful as we could pay on card. It was a great reprieve and we spent one of our days in Jaipur just relaxing in the hotel to catch our breath.

This place is magical. It's like stepping back in time. If you want to feel like a maharani, then this is the place for you. The hotel is spotless and the surroundings are spectacular. We loved every minute from the time we walked in. Thanks you for such great hospitality.

We stayed here 5 nights in total, although we had an excellent stay and they helped us get an emergency doctor for being sick from Varanasi. And really most of the staff here are great, but some staff here can be really questionable.
We were catching a train early morning and pre-ordered a breakfast to go and specifically told them what time we had had to leave and they said ok, but the next morning they didn't prepare the breakfast. We almost missed our train because of that, so we had to abandon the breakfast.

Reception will tell you how much things cost but you can usually get it for 1/3 of the price they tell you (ie. laundry, taxi to railway station..etc)

Also whenever a female guest (in bathing suit) is at the pool area, there always seem to be a male staff appearing out of nowhere "sweeping", which can be uncomfortable for female guests.

We ate at the rooftop restaurant almost everyday, and the food here is really good and can be adapted to non-spicy eaters.

It's a good stay in Jaipur, we really needed this place to relax after staying at some of other dodgy places. Would recommend here, just don't go through their services for tours or arrange cars etc.. because you'll pay a lot on top of that loads of taxes.
