I had a two nights stay at the Royal Orchid. It is considered a Heritage property. It does need a fair amount of maintenance. Noticed the wall paper is starting to peel and stuck together with tape. The appearance of the rooms are worn and need a lift. The hot water geyser in my room was not working. The rooms are not sound proof. I was located in Rm 205. Heard a lot of noise from the Dining area outside as well as the traffic.
The staff are very courteous and the food in the restaurant of a high standard.More
