Place is okay but hotel seems to have no policy on drunkards, Just below our room ten young adults drank and made noise whole night. It was a challenge to even get short sleep. They left only at 6am in the morning. Food is good and inexpensive.

Room Tip: Stay in room as far as possible from the bar

Its a very nice place for dinner. Its in the open lawn..with lot of greenery around and perfect lighting. Little in the outskirts of the city and probably thats what makes the nice place it is.

Food is good too.

Spent two nights at The Roost. The hotel has great ambiance with very nicely landscaped gardens. Just loved the place and loved the food!!!

Simple clean rooms, and very friendly and helpful staff (be it the reception, rooms or restaurant) who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Lovely restaurants that serves food which is beyond awesome — wish we could get such good Indian food in Perth, Western Australia!

Room Tip: Reception staff will help organise very reasonably priced taxis for sight seeing!

My travelling companion and I stayed here for about 2 nights during a recent trip travelling in India through Mysore. The place kind of has a tropical feeling as it is set amongst landscaped gardens and water features which are very well maintained. The buildings are only maximum 2 story's and this adds to the charm of the place.

Rooms are quite sparse in decor but very clean. There is air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room. The restaurant was the highlight of our stay there. The menu consists of mainly dishes from the Coorg region of India and they had on the menu the most amazing Pandi Pork Curry which was awesome. The menu had heaps of other choices available and the beer was always cold and available. Service was prompt and attentive from the restaurant waiters and also the check in staff front of house.

The hotel is located on one of the main streets of Mysore but is a little way out of town if you were planning on walking into town. Plenty of taxi's and auto rickshaws are constantly passing so you can easily hail one of those down to get around.

Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Mysore.

Room Tip: Up stairs rooms have nice views over the landscaped surrounds

In this place they serve really good food from the Coorg region. This means that you can order rosted pig and really good non veg item if you like.
The location is nice and quite. Huge restaurants and good helping staff.
They also have rooms if you need to spend few nights there.
The location is ok , very close to Jayalaxmipuram and Gokulam.
