As we were on a tour (although a small one) we were served a banquet and not al a carte. The food was very tasty, however, it came out so fast that we didnt really get time to enjoy it. The restaurant obviously wanted to get us out quickly so they could do another sitting. I would like to go back and be more relaxed.

I made reservations at Bukhara for our first day in Delhi because I had read that it is one of the top 100 restaurants in the world. It was worth going here just to see how the other half live as it is in an extremely luxurious hotel. We were the only customers in the restaurant at lunchtime and had the full and perhaps too constant attention of the waiter/maitre de. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. The surroundings are pleasant and the open kitchen means you have a "live show" as you eat. My partner did not enjoy her meal and they very graciously did not charge for her dish. I loved the food (I ate vegetarian) while my partner didn't go for the cashew nut paste that they put on the meat. Other than that an excellent experience but I wouldn't rate it one of the top 100 in the world - maybe in the city.

I’ve lived 10 months in India and this is the place were I ate the best food. Not only the quality of the ingredients, not only the good-looking dishes but also the atmosphere plays a relevant role in making the dining experience unique. To absolutely taste: Dal Bukhara and the Prawns.
It is located inside the ITC hotel.

We have visited the restaurant with my family we are fond of Dal Makhani served in Bukhara.

Ambience is created like a dhaba with similar seating style you have eat with your hands as they say food here is best enjoyed by hand.

Though non vegetarian selection is more famous but the vegetarian selection is even good. We relished each and every dish we order. Staff are friendly in nature.

Since this restaurant is high on demand if you don't have prior booking you will have to wait for long that is only drawback I can think about.

Do visit this restaurant if you want to taste north west frontier food.
