If you want to sample the amazing diversity of regional Indian food then this is the place. Must visit restaurant in Central Delhi. Nice cafe-style interiors hidden within the Crafts museum. Car parking is an issue. Also the place gets very hot in the summer.

This is a completely 'Sunday lazy brunch place'. The food is excellent, the ambiance is relaxed and informal and the service is top notch. I have never had 'palak patta chaat' this good anywhere else! Every food is fusion food here and served with a unique twist. I have tried almost everything here on multiple visits with family and friends and highly recommend it.

Cafe Lota is in the premise of the National Craft Museum, this gives an edge to this place. If there is long waiting time, then you can enjoy seeing the museum. We waited for half an hour for our turn. But, during this time we went to the museum. When we entered the place we were really happy to be here as the ambiance and service were quite nice. After seeing the menu, we thought we were in the right place as this place serves regional Indian dishes. Whatever we ordered tasted nice, but, the price is moderately high.

Cafe Lota offers excellent food in the amazing ambience of the Crafts Mueseum. The prawn moniker, Palak pata chaat, beetroot kebabs were a hit. We also loved the quinoa upma. We were also pleasantly surprised at how good the Katthal (jackfruit) biriyani tasted.
