Most "Chinese" restaurants in India serve a fusion form of Chinese food which is often called "Chindian". Chindian is a unique and often delightful cuisine in itself, but if one is seeking a purer form of Chinese, it truly differs!
While Jade has its mild Chindian elements, the food is essentially elegant Chinese food like one may find in Hong Kong or other Asian countries (not mainland China).
Had the pleasure of eating there three times during a week stay at the hotel and fell in love with the Dim Sum. Amazing, elegant, international level dim sum, minus the very home style, chicken feet variety of dim sum. The soups are delicate yet flavourful. The main courses are good portions but with a slight tendency towards Chindian.
This is truly a fine dining Chinese restaurant with an equally elegant ambiance and extremely courteous service. I think that says it all about Jade!
