Great stay at this new resort. Food and service very good and beautiful setting. Private dipping pools and many peacocks. Close to national park kawdilla where we saw hundreds of wild elephants and climbed Sigiriya and awesome temples and ruins at pollonaruwa. Would highly recommend!

This has been a fabulous experience, been here for 2 nights, only wish we could stay longer.....

The peaceful ambience is delightful, aided by the friendliest & most helpful of staff.

It's totally relaxing, the only sounds being of the wildlife, especially the peacocks who add an extra other worldly feel!

We are in villa 20, with its fantastic view of the big rock itself. As for the interior, it has excellent decor, is very well furnished & maintained. Everything is provided from coffee machine to mosquito net - which is not really needed but adds a "romantic" touch to the bedroom (:

I'm writing this sitting on the deck by the small plunge pool, which sadly we won't get to use as we head off to Kandy today.

No hesitation in recommending this lovely place, & hope to return some day.

Drive-in to the hotel from the main road was ~2km. Upon reaching, we were welcomed by the awesome sight and, friendly GM and staff offering us cold towel and fruit juice. The resort was a total beauty - perfectly sited with the Sigiriya view and untouched with wild life - peacocks, grey langur, egret, kingfisher, black-headed ibis and many more. We stayed in villa 20 with own pool and had the best view of the Sigiriya rock. The room was big and well stocked - complimentary butter cookies, cashew nut and water/coffee/tea. However I must say for a 4 month old hotel, I expect the furnishing to be better maintained. Due to the untouched beauty, you will have occasional intruders - ants and spiders. Nevertheless, I must compliment the service team who had been very attentive especially Mr Miskin. Miskin was excellent in handling my 6 yrs old boy and always ready to ensure we are well taken care of. As we took half board package, we had our breakfast and set dinner at the restaurant. The food and service were excellent. A must try Sri Lanka hopper breakfast which comes in 2 versions - coconut (with jam) and egg(with curry or chili). The chef also gave us extra treat on top of the standard meal. Overall we enjoyed our 2-night stay, pampered with great service and, wonderful view and wild life.

With vast expanses there is a sense of bliss that surrounds you just as you enter this resort after a short off-road drive. The duplex rooms are superbly crafted with fine furniture & fittings & very spacious. With a large living area, king size beds, fitting water closet & a plunge pool you can't ask for anything more.
The food served in the restaurant was extremely tasty & artfully presented. There is a buggy service to take you around the resort. The staff some of whom are from the locality are ever so helpful & friendly which gives a wonderful feeling.
Thumbs-up for for maintaining high standards for a newly established property where you can enjoy a relaxed stay in the backdrop of the famous Sigiriya rock.

Room Tip: If you are travelling with family go for the duplex villas.

I have been to hundreds of resorts and this one is at the very top. It's so untouched, so vast and gorgeous, pristine and quaint. Villas are incredible, cuisine and staff are phenomenal!! The resort is on a vast compound looking out towards the famous rock.
The villas and restaurant overlooks the water gardens that run parallel with the villas. The villas themselves are just designed as if from a storybook , complete with a plunge pool. THe bed and pillows were a dream too, which is no small thing and the bathroom was fit for royalty.
The cuisine was of any of the best five star establishments. The set menu both for breakfast and dinner was beautiful in its diversity and incredible flavor. The wait staff, especially Gayane, made it a truly unforgettable experience. I will try not to ramble on , but this mornings breakfast was one of the best I have ever had.

Thanks to the staff and everyone who treated us like royalty in this wonderful palace!!
