The hotel is located on a lovely property, although the mood is a bit tarnished on arrival because you have to get through a construction site to get to the lobby. The hotel is building an extension, but I must admit that we weren’t bothered by noise or dust once at the site. Pool and garden are lovely, restaurant is fairly good - not excellent, but decent food. Rooms are simple but clean. However, be aware that A/C and ceiling fans are noisy, so pack a set of earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Wi-Fi is quite good both in and out of rooms. Staff is polite and attentive. A very pleasant stay overall.

We had being visiting this lovely little hotel almost hidden beneath lush mango cultivation.
The pool is an eye candy... the moment u step in to the loddy you can see the paddy feilds and well maintained vegitable patches
Take a walk further down to the creak to enjoy the country life...
Rooms are comfortable and good sized and love the bath tubs overlooking their private back yards

Stayed here 3nights at the beginning of our tour of Sri Lanka and wasn’t disappointed. While the hotel is being expanded, don’t let this put you off it didn’t impact on us at all. Room was spacious and well appointed with super bathroom that had shower and jacuzzi bath ! Great after a day sightseeing. Great views from dining room and reception area. Food is the usual buffet but good section for all. Staff very friendly and helpful. Grounds beautifully landscaped and quiet. Lovely place to stay and would love to go back

This would be a medicore hotel for a western people, they just have to learn our habits, but its not the case, currently. They serve continental meals, but do not serve drinks on random lankan holidays, and they do not warn their guests about this. So if there is any holiday you can eat anything but you cannot have a glass of beer even in your room. Thats not "continental". Thats discriminative.

We were on our family Christmas vacation trip in Sri Lanka, we stayed at this hotel for three nights, the hotel location is far from other stuff and moving around is not an easy thing to do, room, pool and restaurant were okay but we had to stay while the renovation of the hotel extension workers were working which was very loud, but then when we complained staff was very helpful and moved us to another room
