We chose the Kentera apartment as a base for our discovery of Montenegro. We stayed there one week, traveling around the country and coming back every day to Sveti Stefan. The rooms and the bathroom were clean, the kitchen well equipped. There was wifi, A/C and, most importantly, a parking slot. Clean towels were provided every day. We had no sea view, but our terrace faced a beautiful fruit garden. What we liked most was the extreme courtesy of the hosting family. Our entire experience in Montenegro was unforgettable, and the Kentera family was definitely part of it.

Perfect Vacation in MonteNegro / Crna Gora - city of Sveti Stefan

I have found the contact for Kentera Apartments online via www.adriatic-home.com and can confirm that is good source of direct contact to apartments and home owners who are renting properties for holiday makers. Decided for Kentera when browsing various agencies, but I thought that when I found the first russian review and after translating it to my language I just wanted to get in touch with them directly. When getting in touch with Dragana from the www.apartmentskentera.com I new the review was true. Dragana is representing the Kentera family run business taking care of her apartments as well as small farm few km away from Sveti Stefan. Cooperation was perfect. We have reserved via email, for a good rate, she was open to pick us up at Sutumore where we were coming by train for a reasonable fee (The countryside and hills and tunnels of Montenegro are great - coming from Prague).

Upon checkin we have received a proper Montenegro welcome treatment when we had a welcome coffee and fresh bread, home made goat cheese, fresh tomatoes and figs. Kentera family does not produce it for a business but are happy to offer some of their fresh fruits and vegetables that they grow. Also they might have some wine, as they grow grapes as well, but as we were rather busy I did not have time to remind Dragana that I would like to try some if available. (I am making wine myself so I brought some of mine for her  ) Dragana was extremely helpful, explained what to do, where are the beaches to go to (except the sometimes crowded Sveti Stefan Beach) (go to Crvena Glavica Kemp beach or the nudist beach that is just next to it – it is perfect and not crowded, or take a ride to Budva and get a shuttle boat for 3 Eur to St. Nicholas Island and dont be lazy to explore the beaches, there is some that are completely deserted ). Small market is just around the corner from the Kentera to which it also belongs with helpful staff. Sveti Stefan is quiet town not having too much of Old Town centre as the original Old Town is made in to a luxury resort – since 1970 and is accessible only to accommodated guests who pay rates per night for which you could stay over half of the month at Kentera  . If you feel like enjoying Old Town churches, shops, walk along the Marina, clubbing or visiting bars, restaurants go to nearby Budva. Buses leave every 10 min. Directly from spot in front of Kentera 1 apartments and go between the cities until very late after midnight. There is some walk to the beach aprox 400 m, but we did not find it very difficult. Most of the properties are above the sea level so you end up going some stairs, but really it is fine. The accommodation was perfect. We had apartment to ourselves that was larger than we needed but we were happy that it is spacious. It is probably that groups or families are usualy the visitors (rate seem to be always same and charged per room, so for groups or families definetely a good budget option where all the extra money can be spent for food wine and drinks in bars and clubs). We could cook some meals on our own and the kitchen part was helpful when tasting some of the local grown fruits that are sold around and of course the local plum or pear raki or the wine especialy red was also great. The apartment was functional, clean and equiped. Bathroom was also good. We did not had any issues with water or else. TV had plenty of channels some of were polish or some international, but yet the TV was not used much as we enjoyed other things about this great location. Complimentary internet was available at Draganas courtyard, but we did not used it often as we were happy not to hear about work . We stayed at Kentera II apartments just 2 min above the Kentera I. We had also the sea view (I think only one apartment does not have it, but I ve seen it and it was also good. Kentera II was closer to the Crvena Glavica beach so we were happy that we stayed there. There is also Drobny Piesak beach (small sand) but it is just joke and it is actualy larger rocks than pebbles to which you might be used to from the Crvena Glavica nudist beach or Sveti Stefan beach. If you are religious as most people in this location are try to see some of the churches or monasteries around but it might be nice probably in different than summer season as some of them are on the above hills. Anyway we enjoyed the variety of things that we could do around, the walks, and the nightlife in nearby Budva and of course the quiet evenings at Sveti Stefan. I do recommend Sveti Stefan as a location and do recommend the Kentera apartments for the great hospitality and the individual aproach to the guests by the Kentera family. Definetely want to come back for more relax and sight seeing as well as exploring the local cousine. I hope that this will help you when deciding about your next holiday.

Room Tip: В номерах на первом этаже холодный мраморный пол, но в жару это даже приятно
