“Holy Week Holiday”

Very popular place.
Truly new experience.
Exciting and adventurous way to do caving.
Not really for young children and old people.
Tour guides are unbelievable (contact Saggas - John or Aldrich)

“Not for the faint-hearted!”
Reviewed 10 April 2012

It was very strenuous (and a bit stressful) going down the cave. It was very dark & slippery (coz of the limestone) so we had to be really careful going down. Going up was much easier. There are some interesting rock formations to see. I enjoyed the hike to & from the cave more than the actual caving.

“Be ready for spelunking”
Reviewed 8 April 2012

What to wear: Denim Shorts, non-slippery sandals, Tshirts.
Be prepared to get wet. Leave your bags behind.
Bring a waterproof camera if possible.

The trek to the cave is not very long, but the trek back uphill is tiring.
There are three levels in the cave, The first is the slippery level (very slippery indeed)
There are harmless bats inside the cave and you an hear them.
The next level is the rock formations
The third level is where you can get wet (underground river?)

“Great workout caving”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

Not for the physically unfit. Adventure caving. Your guide must be good and nice. Not for the claustrophobic.

“excellent for spelunking newbies”
Reviewed 30 March 2012

i'm the type who finds trekking quite a challenge. i don't have good balance and a bit heavy so it took a lot from me to go caving but it was worth it. i would prefer it even over the underground river of puerto princesa. i like that you can get close to the formations and even touch them.

tips for newbies: choose a pair of sandals that have good grips and you can wade through water. during peak season, there would be a line going in. choose a good guide. wear shorts that hug your thighs. i've noticed some girls would wear short shorts that would open and those below can see their underwear. nasty. be very careful. when we went there, there was a man who slipped and had to be brought out on a stretcher.
