My friends and I stayed for one night in this luxury camp. My only regret was not stastaying two. From the time we got on our dromedaries and were escorted to the camp to our farewell dunes ride back we were amazed. So beautiful, peaceful and FUN!!!! We enjoyed every moment. Thanks to Omar and crew for making our stay unforgettable!!!!

We booked this camp in our 3-day desert tour with Hamid's Excursao no Marrocos, and loved it. Staying overnight in the Saharan Desert is a fantastic experience. Can't say these were the best sunset, sunrise or night sky I've seen (Brazil is hard to beat on that), but that's not the hotel's fault!

It is impressive how confortable you can be in a tent in the winter desert night when the outside is zero degrees celsius! Hot shower, eletricity and a gas heater with a great bed, you can't ask for more that, but you get! Good dinner, and we only missed the outdoord night fire, because it was windy.

Since you travel a long way to get to the desert, it is worth every penny to stay there, if your budget allows it. You get the isolation, the deep silence, the gigantic dunes, the starts in the night sky, with the same confort of a fine hotel. Did I mention it doesn't have- wifi? Don't worry, you won't miss it!

Two nights glamping in the Sahara! Need I say more? Let’s start with the tent. You open the door and a whiff of fragrance welcomes you to your home out on the dunes. Hot shower, perfect for me after the camel ride to the site from Merzouga town. Inside and out, this piece of luxury in nomadic wilderness is priceless! Moha is an amazing host with his heartwarming campfire Berber tales. His chef will teach you to play African drums under the starry, starry night. Ask Moha for a daytime itinerary and he’d be more than happy to help. We chose to tour around Erg Chebbi on a 4x4. There are interesting finds, including a Kamlia dance number, an abandoned French-berber village, a mining site, homemade pizza berber with the locals, and a nomad family who will grace you with mint tea. Best of all, the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset of the Sahara! November to February is the beat time to visit. I will be back!!!

I hate using the word "Glamping" but this is really what Camp Chebbi is. You get a 1 hour camel ride into the Sahara and all of a sudden there is Camp Chebbi in the middle of a dune. The tents have power, water and queen-sized beds, pretty noice. We brought beers with us and drank them with the other guests there and had an amazing dinner under the clear night sky. Then climbed the side of the dune and watched the stars for a few hours. The guys who run the place also put on a party for us with a musical performance. It was excellent!

Room Tip: All rooms are the same.
