We had a guided tour but with a good map you could do it on your own as the medina is relatively small .

One of the most magical places Ive visited so far. Its not so crowded and loud as other medinas (Fes, Meknes) therefore its easier to shop and move around.

This old citycenter is so beautiful. You don't know where to look. Most buildings are painted in a kind of blue, the buildings are old. You can make beautiful foto's.

This city is a photographer’s dream, with scenic alleyways and vendor displays of brightly colored scarves, blankets and clothing. The leather goods are finely made, as are the artist’s wares. The people are friendly and helpful, with few hassles or aggressive exchanges. The plaques on the city walls tell the history of the oldest buildings - many dating to the 1500’s. The craftsman are willing to allow entry to their studios and explain the processes. An education, as well as a comfortable workout navigating the hillside of Chefchaouen!
