We got here after a long flight and 6 hour drive from Casablanca. We were checked in with no fuss, given directions for dinner, and not bothered with filling our forms till we were recovered. we got a room on the terrace..just beautiful, with a lovely blue terrace corner and the whole city as a view when we stepped out.
The owner is priceless. She is the most effusive, helpful person I have met on all my travels. Multi -lingual, she makes sure you are taken care and goes over and beyond to explain Chefchaouen and give you interesting things to do. Inspite of having a guide with us, we found her very helpful. The best part of our Morocco trip, thanks to her and this B&B

Spent just 2 nights in this lovely house. Wish we could have stayed longer. We loved chefchaoun, it was nice a nice break from the madness and choas in the rest of morocco and much less touristy so you could get around without being hassled. Casa perleta is very easy to find and whilst close enough to everything, not directly on the main square so quiet at night. Begona, the lady looking after the place, is what makes this place so special. She was a delight to stay with, very friendly and entertaining and always keen to help. Provided a lot of assistance with organising our transport and onward journey to Spain. Nothing ever seemed to be a problem. Lovely breakfast provided up on the terrace. If you go to chefchaoun, this place is a must stay! Loved it and wish we were still there!

The owner is extremely helpful and has excellent suggestions re what to do in the area. Our room was a little small (because we had a crib). We could not take advantage of the beautiful terrace as it pretty much rained the entire time we were there but would recommend this place and also Chefchaouen in general.

Beautifully restored riad. Manager Begona abley assisted by the two Mohammeds (? I hope I got their names right) was welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean and pretty, steaming hot water. Plumbing worked perfectly. Bathrooms are curtained off rather than door. Tea and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was lovely with a view over the town and the valley. The restaurant recommendations were excellent. Our quick stay was charming and made us want to come back. The atmosphere and service put more expensive "boutiques" in Fes and Marrakech to shame. Gracias Begona

Room Tip: We had room 5, one of the smaller ones. Quiet and pretty, less colourful than some of the others. If we had stayed more than one night it would have been nice to have a bigger room but it was just fine as we spent most of our time out or on the terrace

We stayed at Casa Perleta for (only) 2 nights recently on our travels throughout Morocco, and we are so glad we had chosen this lovely little Riad to stay at. It is in a lovely little (blue) street lined with shops & cafes, and it is really warm and comfortable from the minute you enter it. Bergona, the manager, is a charming, friendly little Spanish woman who cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. She is also very good with her suggestions for itinerary, eating spots, directions, etc. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace (at whatever time suits you), and the view from this terrace is just lovely. It is a great spot to watch the sunset also. Chefchaouen itself if a magical little village, where the quiet, daily life of the 'real' Morocco can be enjoyed. Sipping mint tea in the village square while watching the children play soccer, the women shopping & chatting, and the men working & preparing for prayers was fascinating, and for us, so relaxing after spending time in busy & touristy Fes and Marrakesh. So glad we made the trek to stay here.
