Went there in the morning, takes 15-20 min walk up to the Light House. The view up there is really worth the walk !! We did manage to see quite a numbers of eagle up there !
And my kids are really enjoying the journey too. The reserve rain forest provide a very refreshing air. It was quite cooling in the morning.

Entry fee RM 1, 800 meters walk uphill on a well paved tar road with monkeys along the way keeping you on the toes in case they dive down from the tree to grab your stuff or worse....too much planet of the apes movies ;). Can’t enter the lighthouse, can't find a good angle to take photo of the lighthouse, just parts of here & there. There is a small trail to go behind the lighthouse where you will have a magnificent view of the Straits of Malacca blue water but you won’t stand there too long to appreciate the view because of the stench of likely irresponsible visitors relieving themselves after the long walk. Awful! Then you have a small steep cliff trail leading down to the beach for a touch of the Straits of Malacca water. And then you go back on the same route where you came from. That is what you get of this attraction.

This is not an essential part of a Port Dickson trip but if you are itching to go hiking, you can visit this place. It is not one of the more pleasant hikes I have been to and some parts had branches and undergrowth blocking your way.

Decent few km hike up via the trails. Went with some friends and all enjoyed it.
Can hike via the road or thru trails.
Prefer the trails.

A bit of an uphill hike on a tarmac road of about 15-20 mins gets you to the top. We saw a troup of langurs in the trees and also could espy a turtle in the ocean below the lighthouse. No acces to the lighthouse itself and cost was 1MYR pp to enter the park. There are a number of trails there too but as i had been in hospital only two weeks prior for knee issues my foray down to the beach was stopped when it got a bit slippery. Take water with you as nothing available inside. Also saw a rat-monkey near the entrance to the park, when we were leaving, plus a few raptors circling overhead.
