We enjoyed our 1 hour tour to this center. It has a very good part on memory to Ilan ramon + another part to the crater itself. The tour is well designed for all ages ,the last movie is extremly moving and view is breathtaking !!!

important to book a tour in advance over the phone to reserve a place.

this is a very nice experience. start with Ilan Ramon - the Israeli astronaut that was killed in the explosion of the Colombia space shuttle. only problem is that his only connection to the Ramon create was his last name..and its too much emphasis on him rather than on the natural resort. its moving though.

view is also marvelous.

defiantly worth a visit. there is also a small zoo near by (HAI RAMON)

Thank Ukusin

The tour is about an hour long and very well organised. The information is well presented and everything has English subtitles.

The big crater that sits in the Negev of Israel has often been said to be the home of the big bang theory but a visit to the centre quickly dispels that myth. More like water erosion. The colours in the crater are not just beige but a myriad of subtle colours including white stone with a stream of yellow running through it. Ilan Ramon the deceased astronaught had been so moved when he saw this area when he was in orbit that he changed his last name to Ramon. It's fitting that they have a tribute to this man and all that he changed. However, first and foremost is the incredible view. It is also said that this is where Jesus set off to travel in the desert. Mind blowing.
