This hotel never can run well when they re not flexible. I want to stay 2 night on Friday and Saturday. On Friday I told them that I would check in late around 9-10pm, and asked them if I could check out late on Sunday around 3pm ( I know that Sunday will not be a busy day for them, almost customers often check out on that day , that’s why I asked ) . But they said NO to me, they said if I wanted to check out late , I have to pay more.. .. they don’t know how to run the business . The girl in booking department will make the hotel have bad reputation. They re not flexible at all. Since I check in late on Friday around 10pm, should they be flexible to let me check out late ???
This is the first time I have this situation. I stayed in many hotel from 3 to 5 stars . They re very flexible in this case.
What a disappointing service!!!

We would first like to start off by offering our sincerest apologies for the problems you encountered during your stay here at Malibu. We are constantly trying our best to improve our services and make sure our guest feel comfortable and happy.
As for your situation, we have talked to our Booking Department but there is no mention of any guest requesting a late check in and late check out. We can assure you that here at Malibu we are very flexible with any request our guests may have. However as per hotel policy, flexibility for late check out depends entirely on the occupancy for the upcoming day. From the sound of your situation it may seem that our Sunday’s check in was very full and that this may have been the reason one of our employees declined your late check out request. We are sorry again for the inconvenience this may have cause but hope you understand.
Once again, we would like to extend our sincerest thanks for choosing to stay here at Malibu. We hope that we can have the chance to welcome you back at Malibu Hotel.

New hotel and beautiful specially is pool. Really nice view, and nice room. The staff so helpful and friendly, I recommend that. If you want to find best location jn vungtau, i think Malibu is the best choice

Hotel is quite new, room is clean, nice, neat and spacious. We bought the package which including lunch/ dinner, and we must say that the food was so good. Breakfast was so so, asian food was cooked better than the western. Staffs at restaurant were so friendly and attentive.
The pool is clean, big enough and have pool for kids. Really dont know who is the attendant at the pool/ fitness as we first thought he was a guest by not wearing uniform and using mobile phone playing game.
While the first impression is very important, the reception lost them all to the bad experience. Linh (trainee) greeted us with the sad stressful face with no smiling, she even told us to go to another staff for help, instead of asking that staff to assist us. We dont know why whenever we approach the counter, they kept asking us "are you checking out?". Really? You made us feel like you just wait to farewell, not to welcome the customers to your hotel!
Further, safety is the most important for guest staying at hotel. We was scared to death by the elevator stop using at 5F for 5 minutes and we could not open the door. Rang the bell but no reply. The door could not open/ close properly because of the heavy wind on 5F, that lead the elevator "out of service". Sadly none knew. Luckily that the elevator didnt drop down when we step out, otherwise who knows?
For all those cases, we reported to a staff at front desk but no action at all even an apology. Seem like the DOR needs more action to improve the team.

We stayed 3 nights over weekend period. A nice welcome from the door and reception staff. Our double plus room was huge and had a nice lounge area in the entrance. A little weird to have a lounge area with no tv and no view other than a divider wall for the bedroom. The bathroom was also huge with a stand-alone bath and large shower. We were on the 17th floor looking north. There are a few new buildings just starting in this area so the views may change in the future. Very clean and very comfortable. The pool was mostly shaded depending on time of day and season no doubt. We took advantage of a refreshing dip and relax in the sun when it was quiet in the middle of the day. The spa did not appear to be open and it looked like renovations were happening behind the pool. The gym was well stocked and clean, sorry I did not check the view but it is with the pool and spa on the 5th floor. The buffet breakfast was adequate and staff were very polite and helpful. Fresh bread, fruits, salad and numerous hot dishes along with an egg station. They serve Vietnamese coffee and English tea, ( This is typical wherever you stay in Vung Tau, so if you want a morning latte, go to Starbucks or stay in HCMC). Located between the beach and Lottemart & Cinema, you could easily walk to either. This is a new hotel and has some nice decor, but I felt they were cutting back on some small details, touches & services that would have made it special. Not quite the ‘luxury’ I was expecting.

Here at Malibu hotel, we are updating more services so the guests will have more choices for entertainment during their stay such as karaoke club, relaxation area. Along with that, our restaurants & Bar is on the plan to make the breakfast buffet and alacarte menu be variety to satisfy not only for Asian guest but also foreigners from other countries.

Beautifully presented hotel, modern and new. Our room accommodated the 4 of us (2 adults, two girls aged 10& 11) Pool area was lovely but a tad cold. After a while, you adjust though.
We tried to order the creme brûlée with our in room dining, but it wasn’t available for 3 days. On our last day, they presented it to us at breakfast complimentary. Lovely gesture.
When we had left the hotel, they rang to advise that I had left my earrings in the room. We weren’t able to turn back to collect them so I emailed the hotel a few days later re:earrings. Oddly enough, I’m still waiting on a response. (that was March)
