We spent a few hours wandering around this area and were still amazed by the end. The level of detail and the amount of statutes are incredible. Bring your walking shoes as there are a lot of steps and maybe go in the morning when it’s not as hot or busy

Very large temple complex. Would advise you get the electric car to the far end of the site and walk back the length to the start.

Very impressive. Lots of shiny statues and temples. Quite new build which surprised me. Good way to spend a few hours wandering around.

We visited in March on a hot day. The place is massive. Our car dropped us at the parking lot and we decided to take the walking route to came in three quarters of the way into the complex. Probably for the best as we the. Walked downhill for most of the afternoon before taking the car (30k) back to the car park.

If you need your Buddha fix then this is the place to visit. They just don't stop. The scenery is pretty amazing and all the trekking up the stairs is great exercise after all the delicious food. We were there for the celebration of 1050 years since the first emperor. So lots of locals there to pay their respects. There were very few foreigners visiting Ninh Binh at this time of the year. We were quite popular with everyone wanted to take photos with us :)
