Great location smack bang in the middle of the main market right on the river. I was more than happy with the room which was clean, large and functional. Besides a few cracked tiles in the bathroom the room was well maintained. As far as price goes this was an absolute bargain given the ease of the location to access the river which is a great evening stroll and night markets. Of course with most things that are a bargain there is usually a sting in the tail. In this instance it is the breakfast which was of a very average standard and not maintained throughout the morning. Given the price I paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights I can turn a blind eye to breakfast, however had I Of had a longer stay in Can Tho I would of got a little vocal about it. Overall if your looking to experience everyday life in Can Tho this is the perfect hotel, just none prepared to eat out for breakfast.

They upgraded us to a suite, and the rooms were enormous! We could have had 100 people for a party it was that big. There was a lot of empty floor space, and everything was slightly dated, but there were nice views of the river and the market below - which starts at silly O'clock so you might want to ask for a high room. It would have been the ideal hotel but there were annoying niggles like the TV sound not working properly and the shower door not closing etc. We would probably still stay here if we returned, but to be honest, Can Tho doesn't have a lot to offer.

Room tip: Get a high floor to avoid market noise.

We unfortunately only stayed one night. The room was both large and well appointed. Nice view from the window over the river. Great outlook from the rooftop pool.
The restaurant menu was left severely lacking for both dinner & breakfast.
The quality and presentation of the food was fairly good but the menu was definitely not from Gourmet Traveler. The restaurant staff spoke very little English which didn't help.

Made a last minute random booking for one night during our trip on the Futabus from HCMC. when we arrived late in the day the manager must have taken pity on us in providing a free room upgrade to a very large room overlooking the river.

The hotel is in the market area of Hai Ba Trung street which may not appeal to some but it is nonetheless fascinating and only a few minutes walk further down Hai Ba Trung to the riverside promenade and restaurants.

The room on the 7th floor was superb, a huge 8 foot wide bed which was very comfortable and a large bathroom with walk in shower, spa bath and assorted toiletries. The room also contained a safe, TV with international channels, a lounge with coffee table, fridge, electric jug with tea and coffee making facilities and a very effective air con system. Plenty of room for cases and clothes storage. In fact we were so impressed we booked in for another two nights and in doing so the manager said he would reduce the rate if we booked directly with the hotel rather than through Booking. com.

The hotel restaurant has a good a la catre menu with reasonable prices. We had dinner there one night and the dishes were tasty and generous.

The included breakfast is a buffet with the usual selection of American, Continental and local dishes. The only issue we has was that they don't refill or replace any foods - one morning we arrived for breakfast at 8.45am to find all the baguettes, fried tomatoes and sausages had been eaten. We asked one of the waitresses for a bagette and were told they were "finished".

There is a rooftop swimming pool on the 8th floor with sun lounges and with views over the city.

The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. When we asked about buses to Chau Doc they called the bus company and booked our tickets and arranged for the Futabus shuttle to pick us up.

No additional charge for paying the bill by credit card.

We only stayed here for one night. The hotel room was massive. They had forgotten to set up an extra bed for us but rectified this almost immediately. Staff were friendly as with everywhere in Vietnam. Room was clean.
