We stayed in one of the main suites with a view of the river. We had a small bedroom and a very large lounge, complete with desk and a small kitchenette (not a real kitchenette with running water, just a minibar, kettle and tea+coffee). Rooms are on 1st and 3rd floor so don't expect great views. The hotel is very well situated for taking a Mekong delta cruise.
Breakfast was very good. Hotel staff was nice enough but below average when compared to the other half dozen Vietnamese hotels we stayed in (all but one of which had much lower rates than Nam Bo).
There is a restaurant on the ground and second floors that seems to cater mainly to tour groups so it is often packed and noisy, and you get large groups coming in and out of the hotel and using the stairs. Not quite the atmosphere I expected in a "boutique hotel" with rates of upwards of $150 USD.
I know there isn't a lot of choice in Can Tho but you can probably get better value elsewhere.More
