We spent four nights on Phi Phi and whilst the hotel was OK we did not find it good value for money.
The size of the accomodation was OK but the room decor and facilities are in need up updating. The shower in particular was very poor, if you wanted a hot shower you had to manipulate the flow to a dribble!....
The on site facilities and equipment were pretty good especially as a lot were FOC.
The service was a disapointment, you can easily have breakfast without any staff interaction....saying that the service at the bar was normally pretty good.
The service and food was good at the beach restaurant and no more expensive than the local restaurants on the beach.
Housekeeping was good and the room was spotless.
It is a shame that you never see any management around, there is very little mine hosting....
All in all the Holiday Inn thinks it is in an exclusive bracket and charges likewise although the product and the service need a severe overhaul.More
